Alejandro is a fictional character from the Wild Cards series of books.
Dark-haired, slim, constantly smiling, constantly upbeat Secret Service ace. Although in his twenties, he looks young enough to be still in school and hasn't yet realised that people who smile all the time don't exactly inspire trust.
Assigned by the Secret Service to the Heavenly Kingdom theme park to protect former President of the United States, Reverend Leo Barnett, Alejandro and his seemingly minor abilities were not taken seriously by his fellow agents. Unbeknownst to them however, Alejandro was a double agent, secretly in the employ of the Allumbrados.
Once the hunt for newly turned ace John Fortune came to its final violent conclusion, Alejandro showed where his true loyalties lay when he attacked the assembled personnel protecting the boy. His ability to animate objects was used to bring three huge stone statues to life, and nearly won the battle for the Allumbrados until Billy Ray took him out of the fight by hurling a shard of glass into his stomach.
Wild Card TraitsEdit
Alejandro is an ace with the power to animate inanimate objects at will. The size of the objects (from paperclips to statuary) does not seem to matter and Alejandro can animate multiple objects at one time.
Dark-haired and slim, Alejandro is in his twenties but looks young enough to still be in school. Like other Secret Service agents he wears a dark business suit.
