I work for Green Ronin Publishing as the line developer on Mutants & Masterminds and the Wild Cards SCARE Sheets. We like that you're using the art we've had made for a number of the characters from the recent novels, but we would appreciate it if you included us in the credits and linked to the original pages from which the art was taken.

Thank you,

Hi Jon,

I think we can accommodate much, if not all, of that request. Note that we update this wiki on a strictly voluntary basis and can tinker with this only as time allows. We also need to be a little careful about linking so as not to be overtly advertising a product - basically the wiki can link to effectively document a subject, but shouldn't be used as an advertising mechanism. Still, I have a few ideas how we could fit suitable attribution into articles.

Typically wikis also often run licensing templates to describe how images are being used, and I've just been playing around with a rough idea:

This is a copyrighted image from a Mutants & Masterminds game supplement published by Green Ronin Publishing. It is believed that the use of this image on the Wild Cards Wiki qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law, as such display does not significantly impede the right of the copyright holder to sell the copyrighted material, and is not being used to generate profit in this context.

This sort of thing would go into the image page, and would be visible to those who click through from the image itself.

PS. I've redacted your email address. We don't typically leave those visible - we can pull it from the page history if we need to contact you. The usual method of contact is by making a Wikia account and using personal talk pages, like the one beyond the link in parenthesis in my signature. -- WarBlade (talk) 11:09, November 10, 2013 (UTC)

Could we put a link on the Novels and Media page where we mention the SCARE Sheets and Green Ronin generally?
