Quinn the Eskimo is a minor character in the Wild Cards series of books.
Thomas Quincey was a PhD scientist before falling in with the Shadow Fist Society. He became head of the criminal empire's science branch with the goals of manufacturing designer drugs to help fuel the Shadow Fist's income, and to research into the wild card virus. While his contributions to the drug trade have been wildly successful, his attempts to create aces loyal to the Shadow Fists have not.
Wild Card TraitsEdit
Quinn the Eskimo's blood boils with a cocktail of hallucinogenic pharmaceuticals, keeping him in a perpetually drug-induced state. At any time he can be under the effects of uppers, downers, stimulants, anti-depressants, or more. The effects of these chemicals can be transferred to others via hollow bone needles that he is able to extrude from his fingertips.
Quinn the Eskimo is tall and sun-tanned, and tends to wear suit coats over tee-shirts that bear slogans relating to 1960's drug culture.
Quinn the Eskimo's personality can vary wildly depending on what he is under the influence of at any time. He can be aggressive one hour, and morose the next.
