Scar is a fictional character in the Wild Cards series of books, in which he features only briefly. He is notable as the gang leader of the Cannibal Headhunters, a street gang affiliated with the Shadow Fist Society and has the power to teleport.
Scar was the leader of the Cannibal Hunters when he and his gang kidnapped Mai Minh with a view to exploiting her healing ability. Holed up with his captive in a secure Shadow Fist-owned mansion, he became the target of Daniel Brennan when the latter confronted the gang over the kidnapping. Initially believing Brennan's ruse as a Shadow Fist operative, Scar soon saw through the deception and the pair faced off against each other in mortal combat. Although Scar had an initial tactical advantage with his blade skills and teleportation power, Brennan's cunning and experience won out. Scar died with a bow string garrotting him and crushing his wind pipe.
Wild Card Traits Edit
Scar can teleport soundlessly over short distances. This ability can be employed rapidly, allowing him to enter close range with opponents to strike them in a fight, and teleport away again to keep himself safe. He has developed a very keen sense of awareness about his immediate environment which he uses to lethal effect with his teleportation and a large knife.
Scar is tall and lean. He has an imitation of a Maori moko tattooed onto his face, rendered in black and scarlet, giving it an almost demonic appearance.
Scar is cocky and self assured. He has absolute faith in his own dominance in a fight and will resort to mockery and taunts of his adversaries as he kills them. He is known to enjoy killing people, teleporting about to keeping himself out of harm's way as he knifes them slowly to death.
